Fresher Desktop Support Required in Microland



  1. Maintains and troubleshoots hardware issues for laptop, desktop computers and Personal Digital Assistants (PDA’s). Arrange for repair and/or replacement of defective IT assets. Assists in general IT support functions, help desk, software support and network support.
  2. Assists end users with their computing needs by resolving trouble tickets and fulfilling employee requests for application and system support.
  3. Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and software problems with desktop and laptop computers, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), printers, digital scanners, and other network equipment.
  4. Coordinates installation of replacement equipment or pick-up of spare equipment when necessary.
  5. Installs/uninstalls various software and upgrades equipment when necessary.
  6. Maintains inventory of PC equipment with Asset Executive.
  7. Assists in the documentation of network, software, disaster recovery and systems configurations.
  8. Assists in all functions of IT support.

Education: (UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization) OR (PG - Post Graduation Not Required)


Desired Candidate Profile:

  • BSC Computer Science or BCA Graduate (10+2+3) or Engineer (10+2+4) (CSE,IT,ECE,EEE) completing graduation during 2012 Academic Year and awaiting Results or have Passed the qualifying with <65% (Final Year) and not having any backlogs in previous years exam need apply
  • Good written and verbal skills are critical along with the ability to interact with other employees in a professional and tactful manner.
  • Proficient in using the PC's, MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and demonstrate the ability to be flexible with the hours of work.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Ability to resolve conflict appropriately and effectively resolve problems
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
